Authentication via SylConnect ensures the accuracy of the declared identity, the protection of transmitted data, and the traceability of access, in accordance with applicable administrative and regulatory standards.

Institutional framework

SylConnect is the unified digital identity infrastructure of the Kingdom of Syldavia, instituted under the Crown's national modernisation programme. Operational authority is vested in the Zërn Ministërjat e Standärdizat Adminïstratif (Royal Ministry of Administrative Standardisation).

The service operates strictly as an identity-assertion provider: authentication results are transmitted to connected administrations, while transactional data, case-specific records, and downstream procedural artefacts are not retained at the federation layer.

Connected administrations

Authenticated access currently extends to 147 administrations and accredited bodies. Among the principal authorities:

Zërn Banka e Syldav (Central Bank)
Zërn Ministërjat e Vizkonté Fiskal (Fiscal Oversight)
Zërn Komisjat Ëlektoral (Electoral Commission)

Additional ministries and accredited bodies are progressively integrated into the federation pursuant to the ongoing modernisation programme.

Eligibility

A SylConnect account is issued only to Syldavian nationals who:

Are at least 16 years of age
Hold a valid Syldavian passport or national identity card
Maintain a registered address within Syldavia
Operate a bank account in ₭hôr at an approved institution
Are not under an active restriction of legal capacity

Procedure

Registration is conducted in person at any authorised Zërn Poshtë (Royal Post Office), during standard opening hours. Identity verification is recorded on site.

Registration must be completed in person on Syldavian territory. It cannot be initiated from abroad.

Connect the USB card reader to your computer.
Insert your Syldavian National Identity Card — chip model only (issued from 2015).

Install the SylConnect browser extension when prompted, then approve the requested permissions.

The secure download link for the extension is dispatched by Zërn Poshtë registered post following registration. Allow up to 2 weeks for delivery, depending on administrative processing and postal routing.
